Estimates & Repairs
Estimates are provided after a diagnostic evaluation and are based on the information available at that time, including the condition of your vehicle and current parts and labor pricing. An estimate is not a guarantee of the final price. We will not begin repair work until you have authorized it, either in writing (including by text or email) or verbally, and we will note the authorization on your work order.
If we discover additional problems during the repair, or if the cost is expected to exceed the approved estimate, we will contact you for approval before proceeding with the additional work. Unless you tell us otherwise, our estimates remain valid for 30 days, after which pricing may change.
Diagnostic Fees
Diagnostic services take skilled labor and equipment time, and a diagnostic fee may apply even if you decide not to proceed with the recommended repair. Where we tell you a diagnostic fee will be applied toward the repair, that credit applies only if you authorize the repair with us. Diagnosing intermittent problems, including electrical and A/C leak issues, may take multiple visits, and additional diagnostic time may be charged with your approval.
Payment Terms
• Payment in full is due when the repairs are completed and before the vehicle is released, unless we have agreed to other terms in writing.
• We accept the forms of payment posted in our shop or listed on your invoice. Card payments are handled by third-party payment processors.
• We may require a deposit before we order special-order parts, perform major repairs, or begin work on larger jobs. Deposits are applied to your final invoice.
• Your invoice may include charges for parts, labor, shop supplies, environmental and disposal fees (such as for used oil, fluids, tires, batteries, and refrigerant), and applicable sales tax.
• Returned checks, declined payments, and chargebacks made in bad faith may be subject to any fees allowed by law, and we may pursue collection of any unpaid balance.
• We may decline to release a vehicle until the invoice is paid in full.
Cancellation Policy
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can offer the time to another customer. You can cancel by calling us or emailing us.
• Repeated no shows may result in our requiring a deposit for future appointments.
• Before work begins: you may cancel an authorized repair at no charge to you, other than any diagnostic fee owed, as long as we have not started the work or ordered parts.
• After work has started: if you cancel after we have started the repair, you are responsible for labor already performed, and for any parts that have been ordered or installed. Special-order parts that cannot be returned to the supplier are your responsibility.
• If we need to cancel or reschedule because of parts delays, staffing, or circumstances outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Refund Policy
Labor is a service that cannot be returned, labor charges for completed work are generally non-refundable. If our work is defective, we will correct it under the warranty or, where we are unable to correct it, we will work with you in good faith on a fair resolution.
• New, unused, uninstalled parts in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of purchase with a receipt, subject to the supplier's return policy and a possible restocking fee.
• Special order parts, electrical and electronic parts, installed parts, refrigerant, fluids, and custom-fabricated items cannot be returned or refunded once ordered or opened, unless the part is defective or was ordered in error by us.
• Deposits are refundable if we have not ordered parts or started work. Otherwise, they are applied to the costs already incurred and any remaining balance will be refunded.
• If we made a billing error, we will correct it promptly and refund the difference to your original form of payment.
• Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment, generally within 7 to 10 business days.
• Please contact us to resolve any concern before initiating a payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. We would like the opportunity to make it right.
Vehicle Pickup & Storage
Customers are expected to pick up their vehicles promptly upon service completion. Unclaimed vehicles past agreed timeframes may be subject to storage fees.
